
Vodafone India has won the coveted ‘Client of the Year’ Award at the prestigious EMVIEs awards with wins across diverse categories from activation to media planning to digital.
This is the first time in its history that Vodafone India has won this award – and this was amidst tough competition from last year’s incumbents Hindustan Unilever.
Post receiving the award on behalf of the Vodafone marketing team, a visibly elated Siddharth Banerjee, EVP- Marketing, Vodafone India said, “I am delighted that Vodafone has been recognized as the client of the Year – 2017 by EMVIEs. This prestigious award recognizes the effort put in by Team Maxus (now WaveMaker) and by Team Vodafone in harnessing our media and activation efforts to connect brilliantly with our customers and drive powerful business outcomes, particularly in the hyper-competitive telecom industry. I am also enthused by the cutting-edge work on digital and data-driven marketing that Vodafone has been driving and which was a key differentiator for us in Emvies 2017. The EMVIEs Awards were introduced by the Advertising Club of Bombay in 2005 to recognize and celebrate measurable and significant contributions in the field of effective use of media. Over the past year, Vodafone India has turbocharged their marketing efforts with memorable 360 degree campaigns like the ‘Data Strong Campaign’ and the ‘Be Super’ campaign along with powerful digital and performance marketing efforts to keep engaging deeply with its customers and stakeholders.
