‘The Things Conference India’, one of the largest LoRaWAN conference was held for the first time in India at Hyderabad from 9-10th November 2018.
Many countries across the world have recognised the potential of LoRaWAN and are implementing the technology to build Smart Nations. The changes it could bring in India are immense. LoRaWAN can reduce the costs involved in building Smart Cities multifold. With this technology, a Smart India is not very far.
The two-day conference, happening for the first time in Asia witnessed, global leaders in IoT and LoRaWAN such as Mr. Wienke Giezeman, CEO & Co-founder, The Things Industries and Mr. Johan Stokking, CTO & Co-founder, The Things Network, Mr. Prasad Kandikonda, Vice President of Software Engineering at Multi-Tech Systems, Inc, have come to explore synergies with the Indian tech ecosystem.
Shri. Ramanan Ramanathan, Mission Director – Atal Innovation Mission; Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary – IT, I&C Dept., Govt. of Telangana and other leaders who play a key role in developing India into a Smart Nation were also a part of the conference.
