Tech Mahindra and Unity to launch CoE on AR/VR

Tech Mahindra in partnership with Unity Technologies plans to open a Centre of Excellence (CoE) on AR/VR (Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality) targeting Communication and Media & Entertainment segment.

Unity Technologies is credited with producing the world’s most popular creation engine, which reaches nearly 3 billion devices and powers nearly 2/3rds of all Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) content.

The CoE will be located at Tech Mahindra’s campus in Bangalore and will specialise in solutions targeted at Communication, Media & Entertainment segment which will be completely developed by Tech Mahindra using Unity 3D as a platform.

The CoE will also focus on catalysing and facilitating training, consulting, advice and research to the developers in the domain.
