Sameer Garde to join as President Cisco India

Cisco has announced that Sameer Garde will join the company today and take over as President, Cisco India & SAARC.

Sameer Garde joins in place of Dinesh Malkani who will become a Strategic Advisor till the end of September 2017 to ensure there is a smooth and orderly transition.

Sameer will be responsible for Cisco’s senior level external engagement, including those with government and industry associations and to drive growth and market leadership in India and SAARC.

Sameer will lead Cisco’s efforts to be a transformational partner to the government across states and cities and provide customers with the right foundation for their digital businesses.

Over a 27-year career, Sameer has been an exceptional sales leader with an enduring track record across multiple roles and geographies. He has consistently demonstrated a keen understanding of technology and market opportunities, an ability to drive transformation, execution and an expertise to bring people together and motivate teams.
