Reliance Jio Q3 operating revenue crosses Rs. 10,383 crore showing a growth of 12.4% quarter-on-quarter whereas standalone net profit reached Rs. 831 crore.
As on 31st December, 2018, Jio had a total subscriber base of 280 million with a monthly ARPU of Rs. 130 per subscriber per month.
Total wireless data traffic during the quarter stood at 864 crore GB whereas voice traffic stood at 63,406 crore minutes.
Commenting on the results, Mukesh D. Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director, Reliance Industries said, “The journey of Jio has been truly remarkable and has surpassed all expectations. Customer engagement stayed healthy with average data consumption per user per month of 10.8 GB and average voice consumption of 794 minutes per user per month.
In the next few months, Reliance Jio all-IP 4G LTE network coverage is expected to reach 99% of population. The company is also planning to transfer fibre and tower undertakings to separate companies Jio Digital Fibre Private Limited and Reliance Jio Infratel Private Limited.
Reliance Jio will be strengthening the business model of 27,000 LCOs that are aligned with DEN and Hathway across 750 cities, by creating multiple future opportunities with new services and platforms for JioGigaFiber.
