RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has received an additional order from Indian Railways for implementation of “Hospital Management Information System’ (HMIS) over Indian Railways at the cost of Rs. 42.38 Crore (Inclusive of GST). The work is to be implemented over one year with further upgrades & support for 5 years.
Indian Railways had last year entrusted RailTel with the implementation of hospital management information system (HMIS), an integrated clinical information system for its 125 health facilities and 650 polyclinics across India for improved hospital administration and patient healthcare.
The objective of bringing hospital management information systems on a single architecture is to prevent pilferage and make operations seamless.
