
Oppo, Foxlink, Mitac and Infopower Technologies is planning to invest Rs. 5,000 crores in TEGNA EMC located in Ecotech – VI, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. TEGNA Electronics Pvt. Ltd. is a special purpose vehicle incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, which is setting up a greenfield Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Ravi Shankar Prasad, union minister of Electronics & IT and Law & Justice and Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh laid the foundation stone of TEGNA EMC) in Greater Noida. It is expected that all seven factories will be commissioned in 2020. Oppo is planning to commission the factory in 2019 whereas Infopower Technologies will be commissioned in 2020,
TEGNA EMC is spread over 100 acres and is planned to attract investment worth Rs. 5,000 crores and direct employment generation of 30,000 and indirect employment generation of 100,000 persons.
The EMC will house companies like Oppo, FoxLink, Waffer and Infopower Technologies (JV of Mitac and Sahasra Group). For land cost, the SPV has paid Rs. 240 crore to the Uttar Pradesh government.

Oppo – 55 acres, 2 units – Mobile Phone manufacturing
Foxlink – 30 acres, 3 units – Mobile
Waffer – 10 acres, 1 unit – Manufacturing of mechanical products for electronic products
Infopower Technologies – 5 acres, 1 unit – Manufacturing of high end servers, motherboard, automotive electronics, automotive dash cam, industrial tablet and industrial panel PC
TEGNA EMC will also have testing & manufacturing support facilities, training centre & centre of excellence, design centre, telecom & IT infrastructure, power substation and water & sewage treatment plant.
