Gwalior Smart City Development Corporation Limited has floated an RFP to implement 40 smart classrooms in government schools in Gwalior.
Smart class aims at bringing an exhaustive repository of world class digital modules or lessons (consisting of 2D and 3D animations, graphics, audio and video) on every subject which the teacher could easily access and project in the classroom so that students can understand difficult concepts with lot of clarity.
The learning content shall be exhaustive with respect to Madhya Pradesh state board/CBSE curriculum.
Smart classrooms in Gwalior will help in achieving enhanced proficiency in academic subjects; improved subject knowledge, conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills; digital literacy; confidence in using technology and modern teaching methods; improved school environment; and improved awareness to life skills.
The smart classroom work includes: Setting up and management of computer labs with 45 laptop for students pre-loaded with smart education management console; Charging station for workstations; network access point for plugging; projection system; power back-up solution; interactive multimedia content; capacity creation of school teachers and trainer for a period of 3 years.
The bidder shall provide the following services for procurement, installation and management of 40 smart classrooms in designated government schools in Gwalior and its operation and maintenance for three years which includes training and handholding.
