
Detel has joined hands with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to connect the unconnected pan-India.
BSNL has signed an agreement with S. G. Corporate Mobility (the parent company of Detel) for selling its mobile services to Detel D1 consumers. Through this tie-up, Detel feature phone buyers would get a BSNL SIM connection and the validity of the first recharge would be for 365 days.
Commenting on the partnership, Yogesh Bhatia, MD, S. G. Corporate Mobility said, “This initiative further propels our ideology to bring communication services in the most cost-effective manner.”
Commenting on the tie-up, BSNL spokesperson said, “We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to our customers. We aim to strengthen our reach in all the nooks and corners of the country. With this partnership, we aim to tap the untapped section who still feels that owning a phone is a luxury.”
Detel D1 Mobile alone with BSNL connection will be available for Rs. 499. The validity will be for 365 days and customer will get Rs. 103 talk time with call rates of BSNL to BSNL calls at the rate of Rs. 0.15 per minute and BSNL to non-BSNL calls at the rate of Rs. 0.40 per minute with personal ring back tone for 28 days.
Detel D1 mobile features include: 1.44″ monochrome display, 650 mAh battery, single SIM, torch light, phonebook, FM radio and speaker.
