
Anupam Jindal, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Sterlite Technologies has tendered his resignation and will be relieved from his duties with effect from close of business on September 11, 2020.
The board has taken note of his contribution and expressed their appreciation for his remarkable contribution. The company is in the process of appointing a new Chief Financial Officer.
Anupam has been a key driver of STL’s superior growth via very strong financial management. A chartered accountant from ICAI, Anupam has been associated with STL for the last 14 years. He began his professional journey with the Vedanta Group in 1998. Prior to joining STL, Anupam was heading the finance division of the group’s mining operations in Australia. He has also worked in aluminium foil and copper-cable businesses.
He has been instrumental in enabling the company’s foray into various new business initiatives, investor relations, capex planning, financing and refinancing. Throughout his illustrious career, Anupam has managed different aspects of financial management, including corporate governance, fund raising, financial control, due diligence, treasury management, value creation, acquisitions, mergers and demergers and divestments.
