
Bharti Airtel has announced it massive network roll-out plans for FY2018-19 to further expand its data capabilities and enhance its footprint across the states of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh.
As a part of its network expansion program – Project LEAP, Airtel announced its plans to add more than 9,500 new mobile broadband sites in FY2018-19, along with an addition of 4,000 KMs of optic fiber, in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Circle. While stepping up the data capacities and taking services deeper into rural and unconnected areas, the massive rollout would mean addition of one new site every hour to Airtel’s future-ready network in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh.
With this planned roll-out, number of Airtel’s mobile sites in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh would go up to 26,000. The addition of fresh optic fiber would extend its fiber backbone to 22,000 KMs in the region, supporting the growth of high speed data services in the region.
