Optiemus Infracom Limited today announced the appointment of A. Gururaj as the Managing Director of Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Optiemus Infracom Limited engaged in the business of manufacturing telecom products in India.
A. Gururaj has previously spearheaded some of the finest organizations and has also been Advisor to various state governments to promote ESDM Industry in India.
On his appointment, Ashok Kumar Gupta, Chairman, Optiemus Infracom said, “The appointment of Gururaj is a defining moment for the Optiemus group. On his appointment A. Gururaj said, “Optiemus has a rich legacy of serving the industry with its dynamic approach. A. Gururaj holds a graduation degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi as well as a Master’s Degree from the University of Texas. In his previous roles, Gururaj worked for Reliance Communications, Flextronics Technologies India, TVS Electronics, Toyota Group company, AMP and Palo Alto.
Gururaj was also the Managing Director of Wistron India between 2016 and 2019 where he was primarily responsible for setting up a large green field manufacturing plant in Bangalore. Gururaj has been instrumental in setting up the manufacturing greenfield for Flextronics in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, India.
